My client is looking for a Lead Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, SQL, Postgres, Cloud, and ETL/ELT tooling. You will take ownership of their data platform and infrastructure while having responsibility for the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of their databases and data warehouse. This role will combine hands on engineering expertise, platform ownership and technical leadership while working with a technically mature cross-functional team. Lead Data Engineer – Essential Experience:

• 6+ years of experience with Snowflake (or similar) and its various capabilities
• Demonstrable experience in SQL, ideally Postgres.
• Strong experience working with ETL and ELT tools such as DBT and Airflow.
• Experience collaborating with leadership teams on data strategy, and proven experience designing and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
• Experience owning critical data systems in a production environment.
• Expertise in data modelling, performance tuning, optimisation, with experience managing data access, security, and governance.
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Data Integration tooling.
• Scripting experience for processing data, e.g. Python
